Ali J. Overby, 57, passed away on Thursday June 29, 2017 at home with his loving family and friends by his side. Ali, affectionately known as "The Pitbull" was a lifelong resident of Jersey City, N.J. Ali was a Firefighter of Jersey City and retired after 28 years of service. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Maria; mother Shirley Overby, One son, Joshua Overby; Two sisters, Dina Palanco and Tia Perry; Two Stepchildren, Mark Daniels and Maria Damata.
