Ammie Lee Williams, 70, of Jersey City, NJ went to eternal rest at St. Claires Hospital (Kindred Care Wound Center) in Dover, NJ on Monday, May 23, 2011. She was born in Barnwell, SC to the late Willie C. Posey and the late Rosalee Patterson-Posey. The family moved to NJ when Ammie was a small child. She attended Jersey City public schools and also was a graduate of NJCU formerly known as New Jersey State College. Ammie was employed at Pollack Hospital for 27 years. She is preceded in death by her longtime freind and companion Issac J. Venable, one brother the Willis C. Posey, and one nephew Cody. Ammie is survived by her son Willie J. Sr, one sister Margie Arlee Ghant, granddaughters Keesha, Janis, Tomeka, and Sharita. Grandsons Tyrone and Willie Jr. Nieces Ammie, Rosalie, and Tacoda. Nephews David, Joffery, and Paul.
