Artis "Butch" Augustus was born in South Carolina. He fell asleep in death March 28, 2010. He is survived by his son Omar D. Augustus and stepdaughter Charlisse Jones. Dear brother of Connie Reid Augustus, Gelanie Reid and Janice Hunter. He is predeceased by his parents Stanley Augustus and Clara M. Stokes.
