Barbara F. Gist (Age 78) of Irvington, N.J. Formerly of Jersey City, N.J. She was born on September 22, 1932 in Jersey City, N.J. On Tuesday May 17, 2011 the Lord sent an angel to take Barbara home to eternal rest. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She was predeceased by parents Fred & Charlotte Curry, Husband Whitney E. Gist and son Whitney P. Gist. She was the loving Mother of Glenn L. Curry, Curtis P. Curry, Frederick P. Gist and Diana M. Gist. Barbara was one of nine siblings is survived by Paul Curry, Jean Van Buren and Charlotte Curry. She leaves to mourn eleven grandchildren , 2 Greatgrand children, a host of nephews, nieces and many loving friends.
