Our beloved mother Barbara Newton of Kings Mtn. NC went home to be with the Lord on Monday February 21, 2011. Her loving memory will always be cherished by her devoted parents the late Plato Perkins, NC, Christine Perkins, NC. A son Garry Pruitt, NJ (Mary Davis), a daughter Francine Dawkins, VA (Robert). Two brothers Leroy Perkins, DC, Cecil Perkins, VA. Four sisters Ossie Lawrence, NC, Nellie Goode, NC, Patty Perkins, CT and the late Anne Hunter, NC. Two granddaughters Ciara Judge, VA, Shakea Nash, NJ. Three great-grandchildren Lamont Whitehead NJ, Zaiden Parker, Pruitt, FL, and Xavier Collins, FL.
