Betty was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and passed away in Statesville, North Carolina. In 1998 Betty used her love of cooking and her entreprenurial spirit to open up Queen D's Restaurant which was located at 2 Garfield Avenue in Jersey City, N.J. in honor of her late Mother Deloris Hall-George. Betty shared as Co-Owner with her Brother Lee V. George and other siblings. She and her siblings served many folks in Jersey City as well as outside of the Jersey City. With their Love and Well prepared Southern Style cooking. Beloved Mother of Adonis Blue. Loving Grandmother of Adonis Blue Jr. Cherished Sister of Lee V. George Jr., Doraleen Rucker, Cenovia Murray, Lorraine Bittings, Maxine Chester and Renee George. Also survived by a host of Nieces, Nephews and many other Loving Relatives and Friends.
