Brenda Joan Herbert departed life on August 12, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Frank Benjamin and Minnie Jackson. Brenda was born on July 17, 1950. Brenda received Christ at an early age. She was baptized, received first Holy Communion, married and attended Christ the King Catholic Church, Jersey City, NJ. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Jersey City, NJ in 1970. She was a member of the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Scholarship Committee. She held an active membership of the American Society of Notaries and the Municipal Court Administrators Association. She retired from Jersey City Municipal Court as Chief Court Administrator with 36 years of service. She received a degree from Adonai Temple Theological Seminary Bible with a Bible Doctrine "Directorate and Faculty". She was a devoted pet lover of cats and dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Benjamin and Minnie Jackson, her husband Bentley D. Herbert, nephew Tarvis L. Jackson, Sheba and Pooch her cats. She leaves to cherish her memories, brothers: Harold Jackson (Loretta) of St. Helena Island, SC and Sergeant Major (USMC Ret) Ernest Benjamin (Lois) of Harvey, LA, stepson Jason Herbert, Also survived by survived by Nieces, Nephews and many other loving Relatives and Friends.
