Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and sister, entered rest on Monday, October 26th, 2015, with her loving family beside her. Born and raised in Jersey City, Brenda attended PS # 22 and James J Ferris High School. She earned an associate's degree from Hudson County Community College. She worked several years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Hamilton Park Nursing Home and the Pollack Hospital. Brenda will always be loved for her giving and loving spirit. She was the family's events planner and coordinator. She loved cooking for others and having a good time. She was a true woman of God who loved and was loved by her family, church, and numerous friends. She relocated to Columbia, PA several years ago. She is survived by 3 children: Jeremy, Ayneka, and Linda; 4 grandchildren: Jayquan, Tazsease, Jaheem and Ajah; 6 brothers: Neal (Janice), June (Lib), Charles (Betty), Shamsuddin, Ronald, and Perry Jr.; 7 sisters: Lizzie, Louise, Betty, Debra (Albert), Michelle, Donna, and Patricia; God children: Dr. LaTeisha Mason-Callendar, Christopher Starks, and Devon Starks. Best friends Anner Alston, Mary Chapman, Milia Martin, Mary Brown, and Hope Sinclair. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Brenda Sue Mason.
