Carlis "Dimps" Ragland was called home to rest on Tuesday April 28, 2009. Carlis Jr. was born in Glenridge, NJ to parents Carlis, Sr. and Beatrice (Woody) Ragland, on November 14, 1944. Carlis is survived by his children, Carlis (III) and Monica. He is preceded in death by his mother, the late Beatrice (Woody) Ragland, and is survived by his father, Carlis, Sr. He is also survived by two brothers, Robert and Jessie; four sisters, Patricia, Brenda, Josephine, Elmer; grandchildren, Carlis (IV) and Madison; daughter-in-law, Sonia,; brother-inlaw, William Terry; sister-in-law, Ida; fiancee, Donna Ponteliona and her son, Michael; granddaughter, Riley and Erica (mother of Riley); nieces Rhonda, Inger, August, Uranus, Tyteen, Monique, Alicia; nephews, Brandon, Terrence, Claydes, Justin, William (III), Ellis Jr.; Uncle William Maxwell; Aunt Tassey Logan, Mary Ann (Andrews) Ragland; devoted mother of his children, ex-wife, Rita Ragland, a host of other relatives, friends and loved ones.
