Carrie Mae Barton departed on Saturday April 11, 2009 at Compassionate Care Hospice at the Atrim at Hamilton Park. She had worked at the Trust Company as a Custodian. She has been a member of Metropolitan AME Zion Church for 60 years. She was a beloved wife of the late Robert L. Barton. Devoted mother of Robert and Marie Barton, Elaine Farthing and Carrie Heyward. Loving grandmother of 11. Great-grandmother of 18. Great-great-grandmother of 13. Dear sister of Solomon Davenport and Elizabeth Knowlin.
