Carrie L. Oglesby was born on September 23, 1936 in Millen, GA to Rosa Lee Rankin and the late Crawford Williams. She transitioned on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Carrie attended Bloomfield College & Seminary and earned her Nursing certification from St. Francis Nursing School. Upon completion of her program, she worked as a licensed Practitioners nurse at St. Francis Hospital for over 30 years, until she retired in 1996. Carrie was parishioner of Grace Van Vorst, St. Matthew's Episcopal and most recently The Episcopal Church Of The Incarnation. She was predeceased by her husband, Reuben B. Oglesby, Sr., her son-Stanley Oglesby and her father, Crawford Williams. Carrie is survived by her children: Reuben, Derald, Teresa, Angelyn, Shira; Daughter-In-Law, Gale; Son-In-Law, Samad; Her mother, Rosa Lee Rankin; Her sisters Ella Prather and Iona Parker; Her 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
