Darcel E. Rivers was born August 19, 1979 in Jersey City, NJ. He was the first born son of Darren E. Rivers and Deloris (Rivers) Gibson; loving stepparents, Kyshon Rivers and Tyrone Gibson. He attended P.S. 14 in Jersey City and attended high school at Monmouth Regional High School in Tinton Falls. Darcel was the loving father of four children - Zaire, Zyla, Zakai, and Zaria. Darcel was our beloved son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, friend, and last but not least, the life of the party. He leaves to cherish his memories, grandparents James and Delores McGill, Patricia Gibson and Carl Reid, and Dorena Daniels; his brothers Darren Rivers, Tyrone Bradley, and Wayne Michaux; his sisters Ayesha Rivers Octalien, Falicia Rivers, Dineen Cameron, Rhysheria Quattlebaum, Takeema Brantly, and Melissa Blanks. Two uncles, Barry McGill and William Epps; five aunts, Vonnie Delbridge, Jeanne Taylor, Darlene Rivers, Soncerae Muhammad, and Iris Rodriguez along with a host of relatives, family and friends. Darcel is preceded by grandparents, William Epps and Patricia Rivers Epps, Herman Rivers, and his brother Dale Rivers.
