Deacon Willie McCreary Jr. passed away on Sunday August 22, 2010 at Beth-Israel Hospital in Newark, NJ. Mr. McCreary lived in Newark since 1962 and prior to that he lived in Jersey City. Mr. McCreary was member of St. John's Baptist Church, where he served as deacon for over 40 years He was the beloved husband of Deaconess Vivian McCreary; dear father of Lenier, Carl, and Dionne McCreary. The son of (the late) Willie McCreary Sr. and Mattie Belle McCreary; also he is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives & friends.
