Deaconess Flora B. Campbell of Jersey City, New Jersey passed away on December 15, 2014. A member of St. John's Baptist Church, she joined in 1972 and became a Deaconess in 1974. Deaconess Campbell served as the President of the Pastor's Aide Ministry for 22 years, an Advisor for the Youth Department and a member of the Gospel Chorus. She retired from the Family Court Division of the State of New Jersey after 28 years of service. Deaconess Campbell was the loving wife of the late Deacon James L. Campbell for fifty five years; beloved mother of James L. Campbell Jr. and Priscilla Gaillard; devoted sister of Murphy and James Cothron and Lula Wortham; also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and many other cherished relatives and friends.
