Our beloved sister Dorothy Johnson has entered God's kingdom on Sept. 14th. She was born in Dinwiddie Virginia and later moved to Jersey City where she joined Salem Baptist Church. Dorothy had retired from Western Electric as an assembly line technician. In her retirement, Dorothy loved to travel, visit with family and friends, loved to shop especially for hats, she loved to dress and she loved planting in the house and in her garden. Dorothy loved too spend time entertaining friends and family. Anytime was a good time for a game of Pinochle. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Donald Johnson her parents Betty Kelly & George Wallace, brother Sam Draper, son Donald Johnson Jr. and daughter Karen Johnson. She is survived by her daughter Deborah French grandchildren Rashon French, Danielle Johnson, Nichelle Taylor, Andrew French, 11 Great grandchildren, 1Great Great grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service for Dorothy will be held at Salem Baptist Church Thursday, Sept. 24th at 6pm. Then laid to rest at Forest Green Park Cemetery with her husband.
