Earl Henderson Stokes, 81, of North Bergen, NJ, formerly of Jersey City, NJ, has passed away on Saturday morning September 14, 2019. Survived by his loving and devoted son Michael Stokes, (North Bergen, NJ), daughter-in-law Joanie Stokes,(nee, Briscoe); granddaughter Jaden Ashley Stokes, (North Bergen, NJ) Earl was the 4th oldest of 11 children; dear brother of the late Ulysses Stokes,(formally of Jersey City, NJ); Juanita Poole,(nee, Stokes, Jersey City, NJ); the late Virginia Freeman,(nee, Stokes, formally of Jersey City, NJ), the late Lloyd Curley Stokes, (a.k.a Rab, formally of Jersey City, NJ); Annie Elizabeth Stokes; (Jersey City, NJ); Susie Mae Wiley, (nee, Stokes, Woodbridge, NJ); Lela Mae Paulhill, (nee, Stokes, Jersey City, NJ); LiL Ruth Chandler, (nee, Stokes, South Carolina); Mary Lee Stokes, (a.k.a. Evelyn, South Carolina), the late baby George Stokes, (formally of Georgia). Loving Brother- in- law and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
