Edmond Black, Sr. , 96, departed this life on April 10th. Born in Garnett, S.C., Mr. Black lived in Jersey City & Rahway for 68 years. He served in the United States Army in World War II & then owned his own moving company. Mr. Black was predeceased by 4 of his children: Sharon, Edmond Jr., Laverne and James. Surviving are his sons, Jeffrey Black & Tall Johnson, & his daughters Irene Tomlin & Victoria, Barbara, Gwendolyn, & Shelah Black. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a host of nieces & nephews, and great friends.
