Ernestine Napper Brown, lifelong resident of Jersey City, passed away on Saturday May 22, 2010 at Bayonne Hospital, in Bayonne NJ. She was the beloved wife of Richard P. Brown. Adored mother Lacy Alston 2nd, Shawn Alston, Myron Alston, Carmelita M. Smith, and Caronda A. Alston. Loved daughter of (the late) William and Catherine Napper; sister of William Napper 2nd, (twin) Ernest Napper, Eddie Napper, Barbara Cain, Edith Harris and the late Robert Napper. Sister-in-law of Brian F. Smith; caring niece of Margaret Corbin. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, seven nephews, nine nieces, ten great-nephews, eleven great-nieces, a host of cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
