Geanea E. Thompson departed on Sunday April 12, 2009 at Hoboken University Medical Center. She had been employed as a laborer at a factory. She had been a member of St. John's Baptist Church for at least 53 years. She also belonged to the Senior Choir and attended Sunday School. She was the devoted wife of the late King Wiseman Thompson. Beloved mother of Claude Raymond Thompson Sr., Diane Thompson and Geneva Pettiford. Loving grandmother to 5 grandsons. Great-grandmother of 8. Daughter of the late Listerine and Newman Totten. Dear sister of Pearly Totten and the late Claude, Leroy and John Totten, Beverly Falcon, Geraldine Nance and Edwina Totten. Mother-in-law of Charles Pettiford. Sister-in-law of Doris Totten (Virginia). Special extended family Richard Hicks, Deborah Black and Gloria Smith. Also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
