George A. Jefferson Jr. "JEFF" of Jersey City, N.J. passed away on August 19, 2013. He was born on January 28, 1937 in Braddock, PA to Maggie and George A. Jefferson Sr. Jeff was an Operator in the U.S. Army were he was Honorably discharged. He began a career in Welding in Pittsburgh, Pa. Later He moved to New Jersey to be closer to his children where he became a Mail Carrier for the U.S. Postal service. Jeff was predeceased by his parents: Maggie and George Sr., son: Walter and 2 brothers: Thomas and William. He leaves to cherished his memories his devoted Wife of 27 years Bernice Kelley Jefferson. 7 Children: Doretha Williams, Lynda (Walter) Pizarro , Georgette (Sammie) Rice , Angela Kelley, Mark, and Darrly (Renee) . Sister Marjorie Jefferson. 3 Brother-in-laws: Otis(Josephine) White, Johnny (Pat) White and Norman White. Sister-in-law Osie (Chris) White Rogers .
