Hope Loretta (Jermaine) Cureton passed away on Thursday August 26, 2010 at home. She was a lifetime resident of Jersey City. Hope was employed by Avis Rental Car as a Transporter. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church and served many organization such as The Gospel Chorus, The Celestial Choir and The Missionary Society. Hope was a loving granddaughter of Margaret C. Odoms, the late Robert L. Cureton Sr. and step granddaughter to the late Wilbert Odoms Sr. Daughter of James Shyro Brown and the late Loretta Cureton. Sister of Edwin Reed, Robe Bryant, Sukea Lightfoot and Artina Bowers. Cherish niece of Tonyette B.Cureton and Paul Asmar Cureton. Great-niece of Louise Elder Williams, Evelyn Lester, Willie Williams and Mack E. Evans, which was also her Godfather. Great-great-niece of Martha Ann Evans. Survived by two special cousins Sean L. Cureton, and Angelique B. Miller, Goddaughter of Kaye C. Johnson and many other loving relatives and friends. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Hope Cureton.
