James W. Evans passed away at home on Sunday, August 9, 2009. A resident of Jersey City for over 40 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Pentecostal United Holy Church for 15 years. He was the devoted husband of Evelyine Evans for 23 years. Loving father of Willie Joe Roberts of Trenton, New Jersey, Charles W. Sutton of Seattle, Washington and Felicia Bunn of the home. Cherished grandfather of Charles Smith of Jersey City, NJ and Tyrell Bunn of the home. Caring nephew of Odel (Evelyn) Reeves and Lillie Cooper of Marion, S.C., Dear nephew-in-law of Elizabeth Reeves of Marion, S.C., Mary Reeves and Mae Reeves both of Jersey City, NJ. Special cousin of Margaret Paige of Hephzibah, Ga. And Ella Mae Reddick of Marion, S.C. Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.
