Jessie L. Alston passed away peacefully at her residence on November 20th 2018. She was born in Charleston, SC to the late Jesse Greene and Eva Alston. She was a lifelong resident of Jersey City. Jessie was currently employed by Jersey City University for 17 years and 9 months. Jessie was predeceased by her daughter Felicia Celeste Alston, three sisters, Bertha Lee Bailey, Ruthie Mae Adams and Teretha Ann Alston. She is survived by her loving daughters, Walonda Alston (Larry), Mellissa Alston (Muhammed), Nakia Alston-Hendricks (Bernard). Her six cherished grandchildren, Michael Alston, Dante Alston, Terek Alston, Kayla and Bernard Hendricks Jr. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Jessie L. Alston.
