Jessie Mae Johnson (Dudley), age 83, of Jersey City, NJ passed away Saturday January 1, 2011 at her home. Born in Vivian, WV on January 2, 1927, she spent most of her adult life in Jersey City. Jessie loved wearing hats, traveling, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. For 60 years, she was an active member at Monumental Baptist Church in Jersey City which was her greatest loved beyond her family. Jessie has joined her husband James Wilbert Johnson Sr., daughter Priscilla Odoms, son Victor Johnson, grandson Jonathan Odoms, gr.grandson Kevin Odoms, and Aunt Carrie Jones. Jessie leaves to mourn: sons James (Jeff) and Edward (Slack) Johnson; daughter-in-law Mary Johnson; granddaughters Angela McKnight, Yvette Washington, Tameka Allen, April and Laura Odoms; grandsons Anthony and Lucas Odoms, Kylean Griffin; 14 gr. grands; 10 gr.gr.grands; special friend Robin Ransom, and a host of relatives, church family and friends.
