Beloved husband of the late Nellie(Green) Wooten .Loving son of the late Edward and Malvern(Edwards) Wooten. Dear Father of Nadina Jordan, Jacqueline Wooten-Rose, Carla Wooten, Charnette Roux and Randy Wooten. Cherished Grandfather of Taundra, David, Kenya, Ernest, Jaime, LaKima, Ericka, Sameerah, Ouemar and Travis Wooten , Alisha Allen, Salema and Koran Jordan, DeVohn and Rashard Duncan, Wilson Rose III and Randy Rose, Jamillah Green and Palmer Roux Jr. 40 Great-grandchildren, 2 Great-great grandchildren . Father-in-law of Wilson(Sandy)Rose. Devoted brother to Alexander and Joseph Wooten , Malvern(Sharon) Williams and Charlotte (Charles) Ruby Lott. Brother-in-law of Clarence (Kitty) Green, Judy Wooten and Rev. Estella Thompson. His devoted Aunts Clara and Ethel Wooten. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends. Pre-deceased in death by his parents; his son John L. Wooten Jr., Great-greatgrand daughter Niajh Wooten , son-in-law Ernest Jordan and his brother Edward(Tarzen)Wooten and sister Elizabeth(Betty) Wooten.
