Joseph William Allen, Sr. was born on July 29, 1929 to the late Arthur and Ola Bee Allen in Anson County, N.C. On October 31, 2013 he was called home peacefully. He is survived by his son Joseph Shelton Allen, Jr., one daughter-in-law Lorraine, one brother Henry Allen, two sisters Julia Nyrens and Mitchell Barrino, one brother-in-law Clyde Craig, two sisters-in-law Glenda Allen and Ada Black. Also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grand children, and a long time special friend, Donna Hilliard. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Joseph W.
