Karen Jackson, 49, was born on June 29, 1960 in Jersey City, NJ. God called her to rest on Monday May 3, 2010 at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, NJ,. Karen attended PS#22 and Lincoln High School. She went on to study computer applications at Chubb Institute of New Jersey where she graduated. Karen was very creative and imaginative. She enjoyed decorating and sewing, and was well known for her homemade Halloween costumes and her Christmas tree rivalries. Some of her favorite past times included; shopping, going to the movies, vacationing, listening to reggae music and taking trips to Atlantic City. Cherished mother of Valerie L. Jackson, dear daughter of Lillie Mae Jackson and the late Omer Jackson Sr. Beloved sister of Deborah , Diane, Joseph and Omer Jackson, Jr., Kareem Salaam and Annette Chisolm. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Karen will be most missed for her warm heart, sense of humor, wit and her cooking. Her joy in life was taking care of those she loved. She gave her all to her family and friends. She will truly be missed.
