Leon "Lynch" Whaley was called to eternal rest on Thursday, December 3, 2015. He was born on May 31, 1938 to the late William Whaley and Vernather Whaley McClinton. He is predeceased by his sister Clementine Whaley. He leaves to cherish his memory three sons Leon M. Whaley (Shelly), Gregory Muhammad, and Daryl Austin, one daughter Vernather Hastings and adopted daughter LaShante Austin. A devoted sister Eliza Wright; four Grandchildren, seven Great-grandchildren; two nieces and a host of cousins and friends.
