Lillian Brown Petersen entered into eternal rest on July 21, 2012 at home in Wake Forest, N.C. Formerly of Jersey City, N.J. Lillian was a woman of distinction with a loving spirit. She was genuinely connected with children, young adults and seniors in the communities where she lived. She was employed by the Newark Public School System and went on to become a school counselor. Lillian was predeceased by her Father, Thomas Brown Sr., and Mother Maudelle Thomas Wilson. She leaves to cherish her memory, , her son Mark(Laurinda)Petersen, Daughter Michele(Derrick)Purcell, 4 Grandchildren , Brother Thomas Jr.(Georgette) Brown .
