Lillie M. (Lilllian) "Poonchy" Thorpe, 87 of Rahway, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones. A natural beauty and tender soul who made everyone feel comfortable in her home. Known for her Sunday dinners, she set the perfect example of how to be a trusted wife and respected mother. With her very kind heart and loving spirit, Lillian provided comforting support and good counsel to her family. She passes on her love of cooking, family and joy of life. She was immensely loved and will be sorely missed. The words of wisdom she gave to each of her family members will be fondly cherished.
