Beloved wife of Bernard Burgess; loving mother of Jason (Sharon) Burgess, Rashon (Kenya Johnson) Hicks, and Shakeel Bell- (Abraham) Jamison; dear step- mother of Belinda Burgess, and (the late) Bernard Burgess Jr.; daughter of (the late) Corliss Cornelia Reeves- Hicks and Willie James Hicks; sister of Richard (Valerie ) Hicks, John Lee Hicks, Felix Hicks, and (the late) Loretta Jackson, Susan Ann Boyd, and Hilda Gloria Hicks; and grandmother of (the late) Kywuan Bell.
