Our beloved Lucille Ivery went with her angels on Friday April 23, 2010. Born in Danville, Virginia, Lucille moved to Jersey City when she was 8 years old. She attended Jersey City Public Schools. Lucille retired from Western Electric Company after 33 years of service. She was an active member of Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church and served in the Women's Missionary Society, and was a member of the NJ State Federation Of Colored Women's Clubs Inc. She is survived by a daughter Diana Ondande and her husband Jeremiah, a son Robert Ivery and wife Brenda. Lucille was the loving grandmother of four: Christian Ivery, David Ondande, Marcus Ivery, and Robert Ivery, Jr. and his wife Sarah.
