Marie Denise Dorvil, age 62, died April 19th, 2020 at Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, NJ. Marie Dorvil was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to mother, Emmanuela, and father, Dessaix. After completing college in Haiti, Marie had a successful career at Circulation Nationale in Port-au- Prince as an administrator. In the mid 90s, she immigrated to the United States. She became a Certified Nursing Assistance and then an EKG technician at Bayonne Hospital. While working as an EKG technician, Marie obtained a nursing degree. Marie was a Sunday School teacher and often volunteered in Medical Mission to Haiti. She gave back to her community by regularly volunteering at food banks. Marie loved others with her whole being. She was a great cook with a great sense of fashion. She was quick to laugh and share her joy with other people when they were sad. Marie was a loving and caring daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Marie is survived by her two children, Jessica and Aly, eight siblings, 15 nieces and nephews, and 2 grandchildren.
