On the morning of August 12, 2017, Mary Wooten-Slade transitioned to heave to be with the Lord. Mary was born November 29, 1941 to the late Charles and Josephine McDonald in Luverne, Alabama. She was the first of eight children born of this union. Mary's parents as well as her brother Johnny ray preceded her to Glory. Mary leaves to mourn her, children Barbara White, Guy(Lorraine) Oliver, Edward (Octivia) Wooten IV and Monique Wooten Wood. Siblings Benice Wigfall-Pollard, Merline (Alton) Carlow, Willie, Michael, Kevin and Yvette McDonald, also 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
