Mildred Rodgers Burroughs of Piscataway entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 15, 2015. Born in Union, SC, Mildred was the daughter of the late Willie and Athalee Rodgers. She worked at Prudential Securities, graduated from Henry Snyder High School and was a lifelong member of New Hope Baptist Church, both in Jersey City. One sister, Lizzette Rodgers preceded her in death. She's survived by four brothers, Willie "Brother", Jr. (Alicia), Kenneth (Bertha), David (Linda), and Milton; four sisters, Ida, Paulette (Charles), Susan (Wayne), and Doreen (Andre); 20 nephews/nieces, including Aretha Martin and Fredericka Sneed, who she raised as her own; 30 great-nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
