Robert Allen Menter, 54, of Jersey City entered eternal life on Friday March 5, 2010 at the Jersey City Medical Center. Robert worked for the Jersey City Housing and various construction companies throughout his life. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Mary and James Menter and one brother Arthur Menter. He leaves to cherish his memory 4 children Robert, Timika, Natalie and Keyon Shannon. Two brothers William and Joseph Menter; 5 sisters Verdie Akinfaderin, Betty, Doris, Carolyn and Gabrielle Menter. Three grandchildren Essence and Keandra Shannon and Ty'Asia Miller. One daughter in-law Erica Shannon. One aunt, Verdie Pickering; and the mother of his children Debra Shannon as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
