Robert "Bobby" Moore of Jersey City, NJ transitioned, Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Born in Breckenridge, Pennsylvania, Bobby and his family moved to Jersey City in his teenage years. His lifelong personal interests included Baseball, Western movies, history, music and being a mentor to the younger generation: he created various Trivial Pursuit-type games for his children, nieces & nephews to play; he encouraged other young people to explore various "historical locations" to expand their minds and experience beyond the "circumstances" that they were born into. He was one of the original founders of the Jersey City Nation of Islam Mosque. He was politically active during the Civil Rights Era. A devoted family man, his survivors include his 3 children, Janet Diane, Robert Joseph, & David H; his grandchildren, Matthew, Tyrell, Darris and Jasmine; his last surviving sibling, Elizabeth Ricketts; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
