Ruby Bronner of Jersey City, N.J. passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home under Hospice and Palliative Care on December 17, 2016 surrounded around her at her bedside was her children, close family members and friends. Ruby was preceded by her Father and Mother, Frank and Ruby (Staten) Gertrude, her husband, Jimmie Sr., and son Jimmie Jr. Ruby leaves her precious memories to be cherished by her loving children, Chester (Sharon) Gertrude, Donna (Emerson) Goodridge, Renee (Marvin) Green, Steven, Tyrone, , Sharon, Annette and Patricia Bronner all of NJ. 1 Daughter-in-law, Magaline Bronner of NJ. 3 Brothers, Solomon and Lazarus (Cora) of NJ and Willie Barnett of SC. 3 Sisters, Betty (Samuel) Carter of NJ, Retha Wright and Jennie Dillingham both of Ill. 2 Sister-in-laws, Sarah Gertude and Jolene Shepherd. 18 Grandchildren and 37 Great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other loving relatives and friends and a very special friend and neighbor, Josie Berrios. Flowers and memorial contributions are both welcome.
