Rupert Calwin Gabourel II passed away on Tuesday June 30, 2009 at Christ Hospital. He was self-employed as a repairman. He was the devoted husband of Diana Gabourel. Beloved father of Rupert C. Gabourel III, Robert M. Ravenell, Rosita M. Dawud, Winnefred G. Johnson and the late Rueport G. Henderson. Loving grandfather of five. Son of the late Rupert Sr. and Winniefred Gabourel. Dear brother of Woodrow, Peter and Colleen Gabourel, Albert and Frankie Henkis, Dellia Heredia, Ella Marachaga, Hollie Young, Brenda Chester and the late George Gabourel and Rosa Henkis.
