Ruth Jackson, lovingly known as Ruthie, was born on January 17, 1941 in Jersey City, NJ to the proud parents of Mildred Hampton-Jackson-Washington and Roy Jackson. She departed her life on March 6, 2011. Ruthie was a life-long resident of the Woodbridge Development Center for special education and was autistic/musically inclined. She enjoyed watching television and one of her favorite hobbies was spending time putting together jigsaw puzzles. Ruthie leaves to cherish her memory two (2) special first cousins and guardians, Gertrude Schrader and Juergen Schrader, New York; three (3) first cousins, Gerald Govan, Ethel Govan, Navis Harris, (all residing in) Jersey City, NJ; and Annette Hampton-Hodges (Jerry) residing in Aberdeen, North Carolina and a host of cousins and friends. Ruthie is preceded in death by both parents, Mildred-Hampton-Jackson-Washington and Roy Jackson; and her first cousin, George Govan.
