Sadie Gardner Mays of Jersey City, NJ passed away on Sunday October 10, 2010 at Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center in Secaucus, N.J. She was a lifetime resident of Jersey City, N.J. Sadie worked at Booker T. Washington as a Mail Handler. She is the daughter of the late David Gardner and Ida Felder. Loving wife to the late Henry Daniel Mays. Cherished mother to Darell L. Thomas, Pearlene (Pat) Swiggins, Henrietta Gilmore and the late David W. Mays. Beloved sister to Essie (Charlie) Robinson. Loving Niece O'Dell Whiley (Lloyd) Washington.
