Sallie G. Odoms, 84, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the Jersey City Medical Center with her beloved sons by her side. Born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina , Sallie moved to Jersey City in 1940 and remained a lifelong resident where she raised her family. Sallie is predeceased by her parents Oliver Sr. and Leona Alston, Her Husband, George Odoms Sr., one brother Herbert Alston, one sister, Rosalie Green , one son Jackie Odoms and one Grandson Anthony. She is survived by three sons George Odoms Jr., Larry Odoms and Melvin Odoms. one Daughter-in-law Evelyn Dawson-Odoms. Four Grand daughters Monica, Chanima, Alanah and La'Nyia. Three Great-grand children Ashley, Justice and Kuran. One Brother Oliver Alston Jr., Two Sisters, Virginia Fields and Naomi Dawson.
