Shirley Stephens-Inman passed away on Sunday August 22, 2010 at Jersey City Medical Center. She was a lifetime resident of Jersey City. She was employed by New Jersey City University as a Secretary. She attended Mt. Zion F.B.H. Church and was a member of the Stephens Singers (45 years) and Carol and the New Anointed Stephens Singers (6 years). Loving daughter of the late Richard and Lillie Stephens. She leaves to cherish her husband Ronald Lee Inman, loving daughter Ch'harra N. Royal, four brothers Richard Stephens Jr., Anthony Stephens, Bishop E. Floyd (Whiteville, NC) and the late James Lee George, seven sisters Alice L. Drew, Artelia Stephens, Joanne Stephens, Presavia Stephens Carol Stephens Meyers and the late Wanilla Best and Genieve Stephens. Grandmother to Talon Royal and great-grandmother to Jeremiah Meyers. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws and many other loving relative and friends.
