Steven "Bump" Bronner of Jersey City, N.J. passed away peacefully and surrendered his earthly life into the hands of God on Monday, August 7, 2017. Surrounded around him was his very close friends at his side whom he spent a great deal of time with through their own enjoyment of laughter and fun in the Journal Square, JC area. Steven will be sorrowfully missed by many who he embraced with this gracious smile and his heartfelt song that he would sang whenever he was asked or given the opportunity..."One Day at a Time, Sweet Jesus, that's all I'm asking from you, Lord give me the strength to do everything that I have to do..." Steven was preceded by his Father and Mother, Jimmie, Sr. and Ruby (Staten) Bronner and brother, Jimmie Jr. Steven leaves his precious memories to be cherished by his loving brothers and sisters, Chester (Sharon) Gertrude, Donna (Emerson) Goodridge, Renee (Marvin) Green, Sharon, Tyrone, Annette and Patricia Bronner all of NJ. (1) Sister-in-law, Magaline Bronner of NJ. (3) Uncles, Solomon and Lazarus (Cora) Gertrude of NJ and Willie Barnett of SC. (5) Aunts, Betty (Samuel) Carter of NJ, Retha Wright and Jennie Dillingham both of IL, Sarah Gertrude of NC and Jolene Shepherd of GA. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other loving relatives and friends and a very dear and special friend, Margaret Troy.
