Subrena Davis of Jersey City, N.J. passed away suddenly on August 2, 2017. She was employed by the Jersey City Board of Education for 17 years where she worked at School 20. Subrena was a member of a non-profit organization for 29 years. Beloved Wife of William T. Murphy. Loving Mother of Shawn M. Davis. Dear Grandmother of Shawn M. Davis Jr. and Makhiyah Smith. Cherished Daughter of Virginia Davis and the late Willie Davis. Devoted Sister of Michael Davis, Harriet Davis, Paula Davis Chandler and the late Johnny Davis. Dear Daughter-in-law of William E. and Bessie Murphy. Also survived by a host of Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many other relatives and friends.
