Susan McDonald, the loving wife of Lacy McDonald, passed away on Saturday August 22, 2009. She was born on April 15, 1931 in Richland, S.C. to York and Susan DeCosta. She has been a Jersey City Resident since the early 1950's. She was a member of Emmanuel Church of Christ here in Jersey City. Susan was the loving mother of 10 children: John, Steve, Calvin, Donald, Stelly, Betty Ann, Danielle and the late Jonathan, Jeanette and Lucille and 1 step-daughter Charlesetta. She was also, one of 16 children and sister of Peter, James, Charles and the late Ruth, Lucille, Beulah, Laurel, Geneva, Cathy, Thomas, Gleason, Hosea, York Jr., Jehu DeCosta. Mother-in-law of Derrick, Woodrow, Kimberly and Sandy. Susan was blessed to have a host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
