Susan (Susie) Mae Tyler passed away on Tuesday September 21, 2010 at her home in Jersey City, NJ. She was a lifetime resident of Jersey City, NJ where she was a member of Ocean Ave. Baptist Church and very active in church ministry for over 50 years. Mrs. Tyler also held the position of (vice president) of the Usher Board where she managed a variety of duties. She was the beloved wife of George Edward Tyler; loved mother of (the late) Ronald Walter Rhim; dear daughter of (the late) Hester and Rufus Rhim; sister of Herbert, Lazarus, and (the late) Rufus Rhim Jr.; grandmother of Renee Tushawn Rhim, Ronald, Ebony, and Teresita Jefferson; former mother-in-law of Rev. Jeanette Goodson; niece of Geneva Murray; aunt of Valerie, Linda, Lorraine, Stephen, Michael(Kim), and Herbert Rhim. She is also survived by great- nieces, great-nephews, cousins, many friends and her Ocean Avenue Church Family. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Susan Mae Tyler.
