Sylvester Thomas 48, of Jersey City, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 27, 2012. Sylvester was a graduate of Henry Snyder High School. For many years Sylvester was emplyed with Consec Security Company, located in Kearny, NJ. He was a member of St. John's Baptist Church. He was married to Darlene Thomas of Pemberton, NJ. Sylvester is preceded in death by his parents Bessie and Sylvester Thomas, Sr. His brother Frederick Smith; two sisters, Vivian Thomas and Doris Acree. Cherishing his unforgettable memory, Sylvester leaves to celebrate his life, his loving wife Darlene Thomas of Pemberton, NJ; his children, Tony Sharief Thomas, Derelle, Omar, Michael, Levia and Surayyah Berryman; two brothers, Ricky Thomas and Danny Smith; Special Mother-in-Law Mrs. Edith Hines; Three Aunts Ella Knights; Blondell Mullins and Kate Constant; One Uncle Jack Mullins; Grandson Nyshaon Thomas and several other grandchildren, two special friends Jonathan Strong and Styna Brakers.
