Trudie Belle Mason affectionately known as Aunt Trudie passed away on December 20, 2012. Aunt Trudie relocated to Jersey City, NJ in 1944. (Swainsboro, GA) She also lived in New York, where she worked at Shaw Creations Inc. for over thirty years until her retirement. Aunt Trudie was a faithful member of St. John's A.M.E. Church, a member of the Past President of the the Usher Board, Trustee Board, Missionary Board, The Stewart Board of Lay Organizations, and St. John's Full Gospel Singers. A member of the United Masonic Brotherhood Inc. of East Star Marta No. # 5 and A Sister of Queen of Sheba No. # 12. Although Aunt Trudie didn't birth any children of her own, she still was a Mother to few, a Grandmother to many and an Aunt to all in the Lafayette & Booker T. Community.
