Vera Josephine Moore Spiles, was born on November 26, 1936 to the late Ray Lewis Moore Sr. and the late Eleanor Moore. Vera was educated in the Jersey City Public School System. Vera was a devoted building manager for several years for the Montgomery Gardens Housing Projects. She actively assisted in the luncheon programs for the Residential Day Care Center. In the late 90's, Vera retired from Pollack Hospital after 15 years of service as a nurse's aide. Vera took absolute pleasure in shopping, and finding a bargain. She also enjoyed laughing, talking, and taking long car rides. She was extremely compassionate, loving, caring, nurturing, and giving. Vera was predeceased by her son, the late Wayne "Man" Moore, and her daughter the late Paula Michele Moore; her brothers, the late Ray Lewis Moore Jr., and the late Richard L Moore. Vera leaves to cherish her memory, her son Darren R. Moore, of Bayonne, NJ. She is survived by her 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and her great-grand dog Jada.
